seven habits stephen coveyThe 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change - Stephen Covey

This book was a groundbreaker when it was first published in 1990, and it continues to be a business bestseller, with more than 10 million copies sold. In the 7 Habits series, international bestselling author Stephen R. Covey showed us how to become as effective as it is possible to be. In his long-awaited new book, THE 8th HABIT, he opens up an entirely new dimension of human potential, and shows us how to achieve greatness in any position and any venue. All of us, Covey says, have within us the means for greatness. To tap into it is a matter of finding the right balance of four human attributes: talent, need, conscience and passion.

Leadership

good to great leadership jim collinsGood to Great - Jim Collins

Five years ago Jim Collins asked the question, "Can a good company become a great company, and if so, how?" In Good to Great Collins, the author of Built to Last concludes that it is possible, but finds that there are no silver bullets to greatness. Collins and his team of researchers began their quest by sorting through a list of 1,435 companies, looking for those that made substantial improvements in their performance over time. They finally settled on 11--including Gillette, Walgreens and Wells Fargo--and discovered common traits that challenged many of the conventional notions of corporate success.

outsell your competitionOutsell your competition – Robin Fielder

I have never read such a concise and useful business book. Robin Fielder explains the buying process and the selling process so very clearly, and then packs the book with practical advice on selling. I have been in sales for more than 20 years and still learnt plenty from this book.

Effective Time Usage

eat that frogEat that Frog - Brian Tracy

There's an old saying that if the first thing you do in the morning is to eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that it's probably the worst thing you'll do all day. Eat That Frog! takes this saying as a metaphor for tackling the most challenging task of your day - the one you are most likely to procrastinate on, but also probably the one that will have the greatest positive impact on your life. With three vital rules of effective personal time management: decision, discipline and determination, and twenty-one practical and doable steps to help you stop procrastinating, this book will appeal to anyone who wants to get more of those important tasks done - today!

who moved my cheeseWho Moved My Cheese- Dr Spencer Johnson

Change can be a blessing or a curse, depending on your perspective. The message of Who Moved My Cheese? is that all can come to see it as a blessing, if they understand the nature of cheese and the role it plays in their lives. Who Moved My Cheese? is a parable that takes place in a maze. Four beings live in that maze: Sniff and Scurry are mice, non-analytical and non-judgmental; they just want cheese and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Hem and Haw are "little people", mouse-size humans who have an entirely different relationship with cheese.

Learning Styles

multiple intelligences howard gardnerMultiple Intelligences- Howard Gardner

Howard Gardners brilliant conception of individual competence is changing the face of education today. In the ten years since the publication of his seminal Frames of Mind , thousands of educators, parents, and researchers have explored the practical implications of Multiple Intelligences (MI) theory the powerful notion that there are separate human capacities, ranging from musical intelligence to the intelligence involved in understanding oneself. Multiple Intelligences: The Theory in Practice brings together previously published and original work by Gardner and his colleagues at Project Zero.

howard gardner multiple intelligences interpersonalFrames of Mind: Theory of Multiple Intelligences - Howard Gardner

The author demonstrates that there exist many human "intelligences", common to all cultures - each with its own pattern of development and brain activity, and each different in kind from the others. These potentials include linguistic, musical and logical/mathematical capacities, as well as spatial and bodily intelligences, and the ability to arrive at an emotional and mental sense of self and other people. Rather than reducing an individual's potential to a single score on an IQ test, it is the fostering and education of all these intelligences that should be our concern.

howard gardner intelligence reframedIntelligence Reframed - Howard Gardner

A brilliant state-of-the-art report on how the landmark theory of multiple intelligences is radically changing our understanding of education and human development. Now, in Intelligence Reframed, Gardner provides a much-needed state of the art report on the theory. He describes how it has evolved and been revised. He introduces two new intelligences, and argues that the concept of intelligence should be broadened, but not so much that it includes every human faculty and value.

Neuro Linguistic Programming

NLP AT WORK SUE KNIGHTNLP at Work – Sue Knight

Sue Knight's work was transformed when she began to apply the thinking and skills that constitute NLP. She uses it for herself and for the consultancy and training work that she does..... She wanted to make NLP accessible to people in business without all the jargon that sometimes accompanies this subject. This book is meant as a comprehensive introduction to how NLP can be used in this way by starting with yourself and then exploring how by the changes that you make to yourself you influence everyone around you. You will find many different things under the banner of NLP

magic in action richard bandlerMagic in Action – Richard Bandler

I know that the best way to take onboard how powerful NLP can be is to see it (and hear, and feel, and taste, and smell it!) in action, and this is an opportunity to do just that.
If you like to be amazed and dazzled by the superhuman communication skills of Mr. Bandler then buy this book, read it and say 'wow' to yourself a lot.

time for a change richard bandler booksTime for a Change – Richard Bandler

This book is fantastic... it is extremely easy to read, understand and even use... He has written it in the way he teaches. It is a lot of fun to read, things that I used to find confusing suddenly become clear... didn't it? If you, like me, want to learn more about state of the art hypnosis and belief work this is the book for you

structure of magic nlp book richard bandlerStructure of Magic – Richard Bandler

This is one of the standard indispensable NLP texts. It mostly deals with the relationship between linguistics and perceptions and explains the Meta Model in detail. Some useful transcripts of therapy sessions are also included.

structure of magic 2 in the series author richard bandlerThe Structure of Magic 2

What you REALLY have to know before reading this book is what NLP is. It's an AMAZING book for those like me who want to know what's "behind" the magic of NLP shown in the previous book. It's a little difficult to manage for those who do not know the basis, but I think you can manage it anyway! Great content, great author, Great (as always) style.
